FETC 2026 reminded us why we built this in the first place.

We've spent years in schools. Classrooms, hallways, front offices. We've watched attendance eat up instructional time, create daily stress, and quietly put students at risk. We've lived the long days, the constant interruptions, and the broken systems everyone is expected to work around. Some of us hit burnout hard. Some of us had our health force a pause. All of us reached the same conclusion: this wasn't sustainable.

So standing at the Attendance Genius booth in Orlando and talking with people who get it meant everything to us.

Many of you didn't stop by for a pitch. You stopped because the problem felt familiar. You shared stories about lost class time, students slipping through the cracks, and staff stretched too thin to catch issues early. That mattered. Attendance Genius was built out of those exact moments.

What we're building isn't flashy. It's practical. It's designed to lower stress, protect instructional time, and give schools accurate, real-time awareness of where students are, without adding more steps, screens, or paperwork. Less chaos. More clarity. Early intervention before small issues become big ones.
